What $249 actually
buys you.
A specimen, shown whole. The firm below is invented – there is no Merrick & Tay. Everything else is exactly what you receive, in full: the document explains the method to a reader who has never met it, defines and marks every element against the evidence of the interview, and ends with the ladder, priced. A board could read it cold. Names change; the method does not.
Specimen subject: Merrick & Tay Joinery Ltd (invented) · nine people · Falkirk · self-scored 131/210 · marked 105/210 · running as The Solo Act.
ABOUT THIS DOCUMENT
A Deep Read is a marked assessment. You scored your own business against one of Industrial Strategic’s two instruments; a structured interview then tested every score against the evidence, and this document argues each mark. It is built to be read three ways: whole, today; in brief, months from now, when you need reminding what was found and what you chose to do; and cold, by someone who was not in the room. It assumes nothing a stranger does not have.
How this was marked. The scores here come from two passes. First, Callum Ross scored the twenty-one statements unaided – the self-score, recorded before any interview took place. Then a structured interview, conducted by Industrial Strategic’s assessment instrument, tested each statement against evidence: what exists, what is written down, what happened last quarter. Where the evidence supported a different mark, the marked score stands and the evidence is quoted beside it; where evidence was unavailable, the lower mark was taken. Every Deep Read is marked against the published canon of the method and reviewed and signed before release by Kirk J. Torrance, Industrial Strategic Ltd. The gap between the two totals is itself a finding – self-scores describe the business as intended; marked scores describe it as it is.
Read the document whole.
Below this point sits the full specimen – all twenty-one elements marked and argued, what each gap is costing, and the move to make on every one. It is free to read. We ask only who is reading.
That is the whole exchange. No list and nothing recurring – Kirk sees who asked, and may write to you once, himself. The privacy page covers the rest.
